Dear All,
I would like to propose you guys to discuss the famous talk by Krugman “WHAT ECONOMISTS CAN LEARN FROM EVOLUTIONARY THEORISTS “ (A talk given to the European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy, Nov. 1996).
I find it very interesting and challenging. Has somebody answered Krugman’s issues? Do you, guys, know about a paper taking Krugman’s challenge?

RESEARCH AREA H- POLITICAL ECONOMY OF PEACE, WAR AND ARMS INDUSTRIES
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Political economy of peace, war and arms industries Research Area has been set up in March 2005. It invites paper proposals that contribute to issues related to the themes of the RA H.
It has become evident that defence-related issues, long given minor attention in economics, have surfaced as central in the current stage of globalisation. Increase in military expenditures at the world level, multiplication and the continuation of wars in many parts of the world, new generation of sophisticated technological weapons, and further interest for defence stocks by institutional investors in some developed countries, indicate that a new type of relation between defence and economy set in at the turn of the century.
