Statement of John Groenewegen for the EAEPE Council election:

I have been member of the council since 1988 when EAEPE was established and succeeded Geoff Hodgson some ten years ago as general secretary. I have been involved in the initiatives to start and change the activities of EAEPE including the annual conferences, the Journal of Institutional Economics, the symposia, and the like. I would like to be elected as council member in order to contribute to a smooth transition of the tasks to the new general secretary.
